2010 Census: scheduled Apr 09 – Jul 09

The US Census Bureau will be "Address Canvassing" or Conducting Field Operations Nationwide from April through July, so you will likely see strangers in the neighborhood in the coming months. The Census Bureau wants you to be able to identify Census Bureau employees.

• Temporary Census employees: identification cards have the employee's signature, an expiration date, but NO photograph.


• Regional level employees: identification cards have the bearer's photograph instead of a signature, and an expiration date.


• Field office managers: identification cards have the bearer's photograph instead of a signature, and an expiration date.
