Prevent Crime
As a result of our tight community and watchful eyes, Lakeport Cluster experiences very little crime. Nonetheless, we do experience some vandalism. To prevent any costly repairs/replacements, we want to remind you to:
- Keep your eyes open and report suspicious people or cars to the police by calling the non-emergency number, (703) 691-2131. Note that vandals tend to like dark and hidden areas.
- Keep your house and vehicle doors locked. Use your deadbolt, especially while you are away.
- Remove all valuables from your vehicle.
- Secure all boats to homeowner docks with a padlock and chain. Store and possibly lock up all oars, fishing rods, and other boat items, keeping them out of sight.
