RESTON, Va. – After months of campaigning, three new faces will take seats on the Reston Association Board of Directors. The results of the month-long voting and the race between 10 candidates were announced at the Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday, April 13. Joe Leighton was re-elected to serve his second three-year term.

Expect them to blow winter’s sand and debris from nearly every ground level surface into the street then vacuum the streets. Please remove your cars from guest parking places, take in delicate ground ornaments, potted plants, etc.

Snow removal crews started in the middle of the night and should be done clearing the 4-6″ of snow from our streets and parking areas. Don’t expect sanding, because most areas uncovered old sand. Genesis removes all of our leaves at Lakeport Cluster twice each fall. Our first is scheduled for right around November 12. Poor weather and/or an emergency in Genesis’ schedule may move that a day or two. Our second will occur when all leaves are finished falling in December.
